WoW Hero of the Horde Boost takes your Horde character to the highest level of Rated Battleground competition. The service targets a season-ending position within the top 0.5% of the Horde RBG ladder, securing the permanent Hero of the Horde title and its associated Feat of Strength after Blizzard finalizes the season results.
Your rating climb also unlocks the complete Elite PvP transmog set, Illusion: Venomcoil, Venomous Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak, and Venomous Gladiator’s Tabard at their respective milestones. The seasonal Vicious Lightbloom Boar mount and one Vicious Saddle are earned through rated-win progress included in the service.
Your current RBG rating, matchmaking rating, class, specialization, PvP equipment, seasonal progress, and completed reward milestones are reviewed before the push begins.
A coordinated Horde Rated Battleground team is selected around your class and role, with the composition, target-calling, defensive rotations, and battleground strategy prepared in advance.
Rated Battleground matches are completed until your character reaches the rating required to compete safely around the projected Hero of the Horde cutoff.
The 1800, 1950, 2100, and 2400 rating milestones are reached, while rated wins advance the seasonal mount and Vicious Saddle reward tracks.
Your position is checked against the Horde RBG cutoff. The Hero of the Horde title and Feat of Strength are awarded after the season ends and Blizzard completes the official ladder review.

⏱️ The rating push is evaluated individually and normally requires multiple Rated Battleground sessions.
The exact duration depends on your starting rating, MMR, class and specialization, PvP gear, win rate, team availability, regional ladder activity, and the current top 0.5% cutoff.
The 1800–2400 rating rewards unlock as their respective milestones are reached. Hero of the Horde itself is only awarded after the PvP season ends and Blizzard finalizes the eligible ladder.
Hero of the Horde is one of World of Warcraft’s most exclusive Rated Battleground titles.
It is reserved for eligible Horde players who finish the PvP season within the top 0.5% of their faction’s Rated Battleground ladder. Successful players receive the permanent title and a season-specific Feat of Strength.
This achievement is based on your final ladder position rather than a single fixed rating milestone.
No.
Unlike the 1800, 1950, 2100, and 2400 seasonal rewards, Hero of the Horde does not have a permanently fixed rating requirement.
The cutoff changes throughout the season according to ladder participation, rating inflation, and the results of other eligible Horde players. Your target is calculated using the latest available cutoff information, but the character must remain within the qualifying range when the season ends.
The Hero of the Horde title and Feat of Strength are not awarded immediately after reaching the projected cutoff.
They are distributed after the season ends and Blizzard completes its ladder review. This review can remove disqualified characters and establish the final top 0.5% threshold.
Your 1800–2400 rating rewards, Honor, Conquest, and seasonal progress are obtained normally during the push.
Reaching the required Hero of the Horde range passes every standard rating milestone included in the offer:
The rating-based rewards unlock when their individual requirements are met. The final title remains subject to the end-of-season ladder calculation.
Vicious Lightbloom Boar becomes available across your account after the mount is learned.
The Vicious Saddle is an exchange token used by an eligible character at the appropriate PvP vendor. The Vicious mount purchased with it is added to your account-wide mount collection.
The Saddle is earned after completing the required additional rated-win progress included in the selected service.
