About WoW The Derby Dash Boost
WoW The Derby Dash Boost completes the Hallowfall Fishing Derby objectives required to catch all 20 unique Khaz Algar fish. Our service follows an optimized route through Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, and Azj-Kahet while the one-hour Derby Dasher buff is active.
Completing the achievement permanently adds the account-wide Kah, Legend of the Deep flying mount to your collection. You will also receive 30 or more Mereldar Derby Marks from the weekly quest and unique fish catches, which can be spent on fishing upgrades, transmog appearances, recipes, and other Derby rewards.

02🔸 Event Schedule and Completion Time
📅 The Hallowfall Fishing Derby is available every Saturday while Captain Oathmyt is present in Hallowfall.
Accepting the weekly quest activates Derby Dasher for 60 minutes. During this window, eligible catches provide Trophy Fish credit, Derby Dash progress, and Mereldar Derby Marks.
A prepared character with suitable fishing skill, lures, and favorable pool availability can complete the full achievement during a single Derby. Rare fish, fishing-pool availability, character preparation, or unfavorable RNG may require an additional Saturday.
03🔸 What Is The Derby Dash?
The Derby Dash is a Khaz Algar fishing achievement connected to the weekly Hallowfall Fishing Derby.
It requires catching all 20 designated Khaz Algar fish while the Derby Dasher event buff is active. The required fish are spread across Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, and Azj-Kahet.
Completing the final missing criterion unlocks Kah, Legend of the Deep.
04🔸 How Does the 60-Minute Timer Work?
The Derby Dasher buff begins as soon as the Saturday Hallowfall Fishing Derby quest is accepted.
The buff remains active for 60 minutes and allows eligible catches to count as Trophy Fish, award unique-catch Derby Marks, and provide progress toward The Derby Dash.
The route, lures, fishing buffs, and required consumables should therefore be prepared before accepting the quest.
05🔸 Must All 20 Fish Be Caught on the Same Saturday?
No. Completed Derby Dash fish criteria normally remain recorded between weekly Derby events.
If every fish cannot be caught during the first 60-minute attempt, the service can continue with only the missing criteria during a later Saturday Derby.
Completing everything in one event is possible with sufficient fishing skill, preparation, favorable pool spawns, and an optimized route, but it is not always guaranteed because some fish are affected by RNG.
06🔸 How Are 30+ Mereldar Derby Marks Earned?
The current Hallowfall Fishing Derby quest normally awards 10 Mereldar Derby Marks when completed.
Each unique Khaz Algar fish caught while Derby Dasher is active can award one additional Mark, providing up to 20 more Marks when all required fish are collected.
Additional Marks may also come from Careless Dasher’s Treasure or other eligible sources encountered during the service.
07🔸 What Can Mereldar Derby Marks Be Used For?
Mereldar Derby Marks can be spent at Captain Oathmyt on fishing upgrades and collectible rewards, including:
- Ensemble: Cerulean Dredger
- Dasher’s Trophy Fish
- Frenzied Hat of the Crimson Seas
- Mereldar Artisan’s Shoulderbag
- Dasher’s Violet Rucksack
- Fallen Dalaran Defender
- Hallowfall Harvester’s Pitchfork
- Fishing recipes
- Algari Anglerthread and Algari Seekerthread
- Soaked Journal Entries
The 30+ Marks earned during the achievement do not cover every vendor reward. Additional weekly Derby participation may be required for expensive cosmetics.
