Throne and Liberty Leveling Guide (1–50)
Leveling in Throne and Liberty is a mix of main story quests (MSQ), appendix missions, exploration codex challenges, and optional events.

This guide provides a step-by-step path from level 1 to 50 while ensuring you never get stuck at an EXP bottleneck. Along the way, you’ll learn optimal questing order, gear upgrades, and boss fight strategies.
1. From Prelude to Kastleton (Level 1–10)
- Complete the Prelude
The opening sequence introduces combat, morphing, and grappling mechanics. Treat it as a tutorial — you can’t fail here. - Arrive at Kastleton
After the Prelude, you’ll land on the docks of Kastleton where the real adventure begins.
2. Chapter 1: The Basics
- Play through the main story until “Janice’s Advice” quest.
- During this quest, you’ll need to find a hidden key inside a book by clicking specific areas — look for clickable corners and edges until the interaction succeeds.
3. Chapter 2 & Appendix Quests
- As soon as you unlock Appendix quests, do them alongside the MSQ — they grant bonus EXP.
- Before boarding the ship in Chapter 2, interact with the bottle nearby for extra experience.
- For “Appendix: The Hero of the Wolf Hunting Contest”, skip most of the event and only join for the final 5 minutes to get credit.
4. Crafting Green Gear (Level 12–15)
- Early in Chapter 3, before heading to Urstella Fields, craft as many green-quality items as possible:
- If you lack mats, finish crafting in Chapter 4.
5. Chapter 3: Resistance Contracts
- Pick 4 Resistance Contracts — prioritize Quality Lithograph: Accessories for future accessory crafting.
- If you have all accessories, get Mystic Keys for Mystic Globes (extra EXP & mats).
6. Special Quests in Chapter 3
- Veterans Never Die: Match your skill color to the goblin’s circle to dance correctly.
- A True Captain: Inspect the Gnoller’s Staff — click the armband inside the jaw.
- Appendix: Ashien’s Strange Painting: Unlocks Taedel’s Tower (Solo Boss Rush). Do floor 1 now; save higher floors for EXP needs.
- Optional EXP: Kill Chief Terror Bird in Nesting Grounds if it’s alive.
7. Finish Green Gear in Vienta Village
Complete crafting your remaining green equipment before leaving.
8. Chapter 4 Reward
Skip the offered rings — green rings with traits are more valuable.
9. First EXP Bottleneck (Level 22–23)
- If stuck at 22:
- Ignore Treasure of Daybreak unless it’s the right in-game time.
10. Chapter 5 Tips
- Mostly straightforward, but “A Sacred Pledge of Blood” has a timed element — follow visual cues to proceed.
11. Level 26–28: Abandoned Stonemason Town
- Start Won! Golem’s Manastone (talk to the Golem Crafter first to save time).
- Also do:
- Skip vitality mass quests (low drop rate).
- For Golem Auction:

14. Chapter 7 Highlights
- “Queen Bellandir Luring Device”: Click the circular bottom area of the device.
